It is usually installed automatically. After connecting the device, you will find new hardware, the first one is the IEEE1284 controller, and the driver will be installed automatically. If there is no driver, download the driver and install it on the Internet
How to use the USB to IEEE1284 printer cable and how to set it up?
1. The first step is to restart F8 Jun//fisher_root.
2. The next step is to install the printer driver ATM_301gSC.exe and configure the port as USB. Then after the installation is complete, there will be a newly installed printer EPSON TM-U220 Receipt in Control Panel -> Printers and Faxes.
3. Then quickly install EPSON TM Virtual Port Driver. At this time, note that EPSON TM Virtual Port Driver will be displayed in the computer device manager after the installation is complete.
4. The next step is to use the parallel port to USB cable to connect the printer to the USB port of the computer, and then turn on the printer power. At this time, the computer will automatically detect the new device EPSON TM-P2.01, just select Cancel Installation.
5. At this time, choose to set the COM/LPT port in the Port Assignment Tool, and select COM2.
6. The last step is to right-click the printer properties, configure the port, and set the port to the virtual COM1 port. Do not enable bidirectional support and print pool.
